WordCounterz.com is a free collection of text tools - 46 of them at last count. The site exists because small text jobs come up constantly: an essay that has to land between 800 and 1,000 words, a list that needs deduplicating before a CRM import, a block of JSON that refuses to parse. None of those jobs deserve a signup form or a paid plan.

What We Do

The tools cover the everyday work people actually search for: counting words and characters, converting case, sorting lines, cleaning text pasted out of PDFs, formatting JSON, generating slugs and passwords. The AI section drafts and edits - grammar checking, summarizing, paraphrasing, tone changes, emails and cover letters - always producing a draft for you to edit rather than a finished product.

Why We Built This

We got tired of searching for simple text tools online and landing on slow, ad-bloated pages that made easy tasks feel like a chore. Half the time, the tools didn't even work properly. And the ones that did work often wanted you to sign up, pay for a "premium plan" or download software just to convert some text to uppercase.

That felt wrong. Basic text operations shouldn't be that hard.

So we built WordCounterz. A single place where you can find practically any text tool you need, completely free, with zero hoops to jump through. No account creation. No email verification. No "free trial" that expires. Just open the tool and use it.

Our Philosophy

A few things matter to us more than anything else:

Privacy First

Your text is your business. The vast majority of our tools run entirely in your browser. When you paste text into our word counter or case converter, that text stays on your device. It never gets sent to a server. We never see it and we can't access it.

AI-powered tools do need to send text through our server to an AI provider for processing. WordCounterz does not keep copies after the result is returned. Those providers process requests under their own privacy terms, so avoid pasting anything you would not share with an external service.

Speed and Simplicity

We believe tools should get out of your way. You came to count words, not to navigate a maze of pop-ups and sign-up forms. Our tools load fast, work instantly and give you results without any distractions. The interface is clean and focused because that's how tools should be.

Always Free

All of our tools are free to use. We support the site through advertising, which means you'll see some ads, but you'll never hit a paywall or get locked out of a feature. We think everyone should have access to good tools regardless of their budget.

No Sign-Up Required

We don't ask you to create an account. We don't need your email address. We don't want your phone number. Just visit the site and start using the tools. It's that simple. We believe that asking people to register for a word counter is, frankly, ridiculous.
